Nicole Anderson has extensive experience in veteran employment programs from both Texas and Virginia. She is an Army veteran and served in Fort Lewis, Washington, Camp Red Cloud, South Korea, and Fort Gordon, Georgia. She spent five years as a dual-military family with children and was medically separated after eight years of service. Nicole is now a military spouse who has relocated to Fort Hood, Texas and Fort Lee, Virginia with her active duty husband.

In Texas, she served as a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist under the Jobs for Veterans State Grant and Women Veteran Employment Coordinator within the Women Veteran Program. During that time, she established strong relationships with large-scale veteran-friendly employers, which have continued to benefit veterans and transitioning service members in the Commonwealth State. Her personal military transition and work experience have allowed her special insight into some of the obstacles and perseverance that veterans have in their job search. Nicole is completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management. She lives in North Chesterfield with her husband Brandon, and two children William and Aaliyah.
