Attention: As of October 31, 2025, the online V3 New Enrollment Application will transition to the new V3 Self Service Portal. Employers will receive an email between November 10 and November 14, 2025, with instructions to enroll and access the portal. Virginia Beach Police Department

Sworn Law Enforcement Professionals: The program will help transition Military Service Members into the Virginia Beach Police Department through two paths. The first path will be directly into the Police Academy is service member successfully completes the hiring process prior to entering the program. The second path will consist of an internship with the Virginia Beach Police Department, allowing the service member to complete the application and hiring process to attend the police academy.
