About The Program

V3 Employment Grant

Companies may qualify for up to $10,000 in grants per year, with $1,000 being awarded per eligible Veteran hired

Virginia is proud to be able to invest in companies who have committed to hiring Veterans. The knowledge, skills, and abilities today’s service members and Veterans gain in our modern military make them an extremely valuable talent pool for employers wishing to grow and improve organizational performance.

In 2015, the General Assembly unanimously appropriated $100,000 for the purposes of establishing an employment grant for V3-certified employers. The Department of Veterans Services and the V3 Program will administer this grant fund so that all $100,000 goes to qualifying employers who have hired Veterans.

If you have additional questions regarding the V3 Grant, please contact your respective V3 Employer Liaison.

*****The V3 Program has expended all available grant funds for FY24. All approved grants will be dispersed starting the FY25 fiscal year (beginning July 1, 2024). Employers will still be eligible to apply for up to $10,000 in the FY25.
