2024 V3 Award Applications
V3 Certified Organizations are eligible to apply for the 2024 V3 Awards. The V3 Awards Summit occurs during the luncheon portion of the Virginia Military Affairs Executive Forum. V3 Certified Organizations will receive an invitation to attend the conference at no cost. Winners are selected from applications submitted by 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 13th.
GOVERNOR’S AWARD
The V3 Program presents the Governor’s Award to V3 Certified Companies whose Veteran hiring efforts have gone above and beyond, as demonstrated by the total number of annual hires during the 2023 calendar year. Award winners for Enterprise, Large, Medium, and Small companies will be selected based on quarterly hiring reports received by our program no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 13th. Award applicants must verify hiring report submissions with their V3 Employer Liaison.

SECRETARY AWARD
The V3 Program presents the V3 Secretary’s Award to a V3 Certified State Agency or Public Entity under the Commonwealth of Virginia. The award-winning entity will have demonstrated innovation with its overall support for Veterans and military employment. Applicants are evaluated based on their efforts to recruit, hire, train, and retain veterans.
BREAKTHROUGH AWARD
The V3 Program presents the V3 Breakthrough Award to a V3 Certified Organization that has established the “Most Innovative Readiness and Training Programs” for Veterans.
MVP AWARD
The V3 Program presents the V3 MVP Award to a V3 Certified Organization that has illustrated the “Most Inspiring Workplace Culture” for Veterans.
TRIUMPH AWARD
The V3 Program presents the V3 Triumph Award to a V3 Certified Organization that has illustrated the “Most Transformative Hiring Process” for Veterans.
INFLUENCER AWARD
The V3 Program presents the V3 Influencer Award to a V3 Certified Organization that has created the “Best Veteran Marketing Strategy” for the recruitment, hiring, retention, and broad range support of Veterans.

ANNIE WALKER MENTORSHIP AWARD
The V3 Program presents the V3 Annie Walker Mentorship Award in memoriam of former Deputy Commissioner Annie Walker to a V3 Certified Company that has demonstrated the “Most Innovative Veteran Mentoring Programs” for Veterans or Transitioning Service Members.
